I don’t know if I need a cigarette after finishing this book, or to run out and get myself some kitty ears. Meow. Sophie Lark definitely delivered with the spice in this book, but I think Ramses and Blake are the most emotionally mature characters she has ever written. Ramses is a self-made finance genius who always gets what he wants and he becomes enamoured with Blake from their first encounter. Blake is a strong, independent, high-class escort who agrees to take Ramses as one her clients. From their early ‘paid’ meetings, Minx is born. I was not prepared for ‘pet play’ but boy did I dive in head first nonetheless. I loved the chemistry between Ramses and Blake, their back and forth banter, and the way they were vulnerable with each other (I NEED more Brutus!) yet respected each other so much… uh, i’m just obsessed with them.
